Welcome to The Lucky Colt

In the 2009 NFL season, I had the opportunity to follow the Indianapolis Colts from game one until their devastating Super Bowl loss to the New Orleans Saints. From that defeat, I have been locked in on the Colts and have followed them through the offseason, regular season, and postseason. I love the Indianapolis Colts and my goal is to provide in depth analysis on games, offseason moves, and share my perspective on the team every year.

Week 7 Recap – Home Game Heartbreak

The Colts went below 500 this weekend after a tough 38-39 loss to the Cleveland Browns at home. Even though they were 3-point underdogs, this game was very winnable, especially in the closing moments. The issue for Indy was a lack of protecting the football and overcoming injuries in the secondary. For the third time…

For the ninth straight season, the Colts have left their road matchup against the Jaguars with a loss and this loss was very consistent with how the previous matchups have turned out. They have been uncompetitive and showcase the offense struggling to get anything going down the field and on the ground. While the Colts…
